1. 
If you say that someone flaunts their possessions, abilities, or qualities, you mean that they display them in a very obvious way, especially in order to try to obtain other people’s admiration.
eg.They drove around in Rolls-Royces, openly flaunting their wealth…
他们开着劳斯莱斯到处转悠,公开炫耀他们的财富.

2. If you say that someone is flaunting themselves, you disapprove of them because they are behaving in a very confident way, or in a way that is intended to attract sexual attention.
eg. She’s asking for trouble if she flaunts herself like that.
她那么招摇,真是在自找麻烦。

Flaunt有两个意思,一个是炫耀;夸耀;卖弄,另一个意思是招摇过市;卖弄性感;搔首弄姿。
